One of the key points in the Jakarta Sewerage Project (JSDP) has been successfully completed. The jacking of a 450 mm RC pipe from span C-1.5 to C-1.4 in the Menteng area, part of KWJJV/JSS package 2 has reached breakthrough with a total length of 105 meters.
This jacking section on this span is relatively the same as the previous span where the dominant drilling material is silty clay. With these soil conditions, the team was able to maximize the jacking speed to an average of 30 cm per minute, This span trace crosses the intersection of an area that is sensitive to the presence of underground utilities.
The span traverses a crossroads area that is sensitive to the presence of underground utilities. However, thanks to neat coordination and solid teamwork, the installation process was successfully completed without significant obstacles. This achievement adds to the team’s enthusiasm to continue completing the work safely, quickly, and precisely for optimal results.
