Mixing Tanks are the Key to Optimizing the Best Wastewater Treatment Process

In the wastewater treatment process, mixing tanks play a crucial role, including stabilizing material concentrations, triggering chemical reactions, and maintaining the mixture’s temperature and viscosity. Mixing tanks are industrial tanks designed to mix and dissolve specific liquids or chemicals.

The way it works is quite simple, the agitator is installed in the tank, then the liquid/chemical is inserted according to the process sequence, then the agitator rotates to mix the liquid evenly and the system can be controlled automatically.

The Mixing Tank’s function in a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is to mix chemical preparations (coagulant, flocculant, pH adjustment, disinfection), and the rapid mixing system (coagulation tank), as well as the slow mixing system (flocculation tank). This ensures the quality of the mixture, supports precise chemical reactions, and improves process efficiency and environmental safety.
