Hydraulic Jack functions is tasked with pushing precast pipes into the drill hole simultaneously during the drilling process. When the Microtunneling Boring Machine (MTBM) machine is drilling the ground, the hydraulic jack simultaneously pushes the pipe from behind the drilling machine. The pipe automatically follows the drilling pace without pause.
The advantage of using a hydraulic jack in installing pipes is the efficiency of time and energy, because the pipe installation takes place along with the drilling process. If the drilling is complete, the pipe installation is also complete.
Hydraulic jacks are also used in PT Tohoma Mandiri’s microtunneling projects. This technology ensures that pipe installation is more efficient, fast, and precise, along with soil drilling carried out by the Microtunnel Boring Machine (MTBM).
