When the Microtunneling Boring Machine (MTBM) machine is drilling the ground, the hydraulic jack simultaneously pushes the pipe from behind the drilling machine. The pipe automatically follows the drilling pace without pause.
The advantage of using a hydraulic jack in installing pipes is the efficiency of time and energy, because the pipe installation takes place along with the drilling process. If the drilling is complete, the pipe installation is also complete.
